Encounter Church & Cafe 660 West Broad Street Athens, GA
Our service begins at 10:30 a.m., but the Cafe opens at 9:30am. People arrive early to grab a cup of coffee and hang out together.
Our services are designed to be relational, relevant, and contemporary in feel. We want people of all stages of faith and walks of life to come away from the service with a feeling of belonging to God and to the church.
Childcare is provided for age 3 - 5th grade.
Bible Studies and Small Groups
Tuesdays, 6:30am - Men's Bible Study at Biscuit Express, 8729 US-29 in Hull - currently studying Galatians, Ephesians & Colossians
Thursdays, 6pm - Women's Bible Study: Praying the Names of God - we meet in the café!
Small Group on Wednesdays at 7pm at the Church & Café - This is a time when you can ask anything - it's a safe place to question life, faith, and meaning. We'll ask and answer questions like, "Is there more to life than this?", "What is faith?", "Is the Bible relevant for today?", "Who was Jesus?", "Do you ever pray?" Come check it out!
